Here at Busted Knuckle Films we try to bring you a great mix of music in your DVD. When we started the editing process on our most recent offroad DVD entitled Southern Shenanigans we went out in search of great local bands to give our DVD the flow we were looking for.
The first band we found was BrokenRail from our hometown of
Auburn, AL. The style of rock they play is best explained as ” Clean tones meet harsh, crisp, raging techniques of rock blended precisely to express the raw emotion behind each song, complimented by grunge, yet pure, vocals.” There Debut LP is set to release in Spring 2010.
This being a DVD about the southern style of wheeling we knew we had to throw in some Outlaw Country. When we heard Tony Brook sing at a local spot in Auburn we knew he would be a perfect fit. He is an Alabama native singer and songwriter and plays some of the best original country music in town. This isnt your poppy new fangled country music this is REAL Country.
Next we found a hard rock band out of Birmingham, AL with Slave to the Day. I have these guys on my Ipod to listen to whenever I am doing something crazy. Their music helps get my adrenaline flowing for the stunt I am about to attempt.
Finally we found this crazy punk rock band out of Atlanta, Georgia. WAVEPOOL has been a staple in the Atlanta, Georgia Punk Rock Scene since 1995. They throw all aspects of punk rock into a truly unique sound that will have you pumped in no time.
